Marine Task Forces
Marines possess the capability to forcibly enter any territory through the air, land, and sea. All deployed Marine units possess a Marine Air-Ground Task Force.
The task force is further subdivided into the ground, aviation, and logistics fight elements. They are headed by just one fight element.
The United States Marines adhere to the doctrine that “Every Marine is a rifleman.”
They are conservative in terms of employing new weapons, and rather rely on the skills and techniques they’ve acquired in combat training to accomplish their missions.
Aside from being trained as riflemen, all Marines are also trained to be infantry platoon commanders.
